SHEEN RENOVATION

This full renovation involved a complete redesign of the internal spaces, alongside a loft extension to create additional living space and improve the way the house works as a whole.

A key part of the design was creating a sense of continuity throughout the house. Colour was carefully layered from room to room, with considered transitions that allow each space to feel individual while still connecting naturally to the next. Rather than treating rooms in isolation, sightlines and glimpses through the house became an important part of the design, creating a feeling of depth and cohesion.

Vintage artwork, furniture and collected pieces were woven throughout the interiors, adding character, warmth and a sense that the house had evolved over time. These pieces often became starting points for the colour palette, with paint colours chosen to complement and draw out the tones within the artwork.

The renovation also included the installation of an air source heat pump and underfloor heating throughout, combining the character and individuality of the interiors with a more considered approach to the home’s energy and comfort.

The result is a home that feels colourful, layered and personal, with a strong connection between the individual rooms and a sense of effortless flow throughout.
